Cleanliness. Locality is quite and can sleep well without disturbance.
Single Bathroom can cause waiting time. Staircase is narrow especially if your room is on the top floor (4th).
Friendly Staff. Very good location. This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for, ideal if all you want is somewhere to sleep between sight seeing/shopping.
No tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom.
Nice friendly staff, reasonably priced accommodation for central london. Well serviced and clean rooms with basic facilities. Ideal if you just want basic, clean accommodation for a visit to london where you are out and about most of the day anyway.
there was no shower gel neither soap in the bathroom!!!
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.
I am a 71 year old woman and my room was on the top floor but was not offered or given any help up with my suitcase.
Good Location. Basic accommodation, serves its purpose. We used this hotel as a base for sleeping only. Female staff members were more than helpful, the males "not so much".
Basic Accommodation. Bed not comfortable, bathroom does not have a proper window curtain or shield to stop outsiders looking in, ok we were up a few flights but I get paranoid. Shower is like a portacabin, one notch too many and your scalded wheras one too little and your frozen. No tea making facilities. I felt it was expensive for what we got but hey I realise this is London.
Location & price. Quiet room and acceptable bed.
Bathroom too small, could hardly sit on toilet. Breakfast basic.
It was as expected! What else can you get for £25 per person (family of 4). Useful with free wifi.
Location was good, walking distance from tube stops.
Unfriendly staff. Wouldn't allow check-in until after 2pm so we waited around until after and then they still wouldn't allow it. Small pokey rooms, definately not worth the price we paid. Noisy.
The room was large and clean; the bed was comfortable
The receptionist insisted on some form if id even though I paid in full on arrival and a uk citizen! The room had no tea and coffee making facility and no bath gel or shampoo- there was also no telephone or clock of any kind !
Cheap price, good location.
Room wasn't ready until 2pm, although I arrived earlier. No wifi, no ac, no phone. Staff tried to charge me for converter which I never purchased from hotel. Breakfast is bare bones, toast, powder juice, cereal, single serving yogurt, watered down coffee. No elevator or porter to assist with luggage up stairs. Room is shabby. Stains inside drawers of dresser, appear to be blood. Must pay for entire stay upfront. Zero amenities. Television got two channels, remote didn't work. Hotel only for tolerant budget travelers.
The hotel is in great location. Just 4-5 mins from tube station. Staff is very nice, friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy.
The only thing.. There could be another bathroom/shower so people do not have to quee outside the shower.
The hotel was within 10 minute walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall & museums. A good choice of national chain restaurants & coffee shops around the corner. Its located away from the main road & there was no traffic noise so I got a good nights sleep. I had a room on the 4th floor which was quiet. There was a wash basin in the room with soap & hot water. The toilet & shower room were on the 2nd floor which is shared with other guests. The breakfast room is in the basement down a flight of steep stairs. For the location & cost I would stay there again.
The stairs throughout the hotel were steep & winding. This would be a challenge for those with reduced walking ability.
Although we didn't book a room that had its own bathroom we surprisingly got one nevertheless (whatever the reasons might have been) and were naturally very pleased. The breakfast service was very good and the staff was always friendly. They had many helpful brochures about the city in the hotel lobby. Another aspect of the hotel that I really liked was the location because two tube stations were almost around the corner and also some nice pubs and restaurants.
It might be considered too small or old fashioned depending on one's expectations but for the budget and its location it's really worth it.
Central location. Helpful staff.
The pillows were really flat and we were only given one each. I also wished that the hotel had internet access. There is a pub across the street that has free wireless but it was down on the night we were there so we had to walk around searching for another pub.
